Sometimes it is simply the quiet realization that there is more of God to know, more of His character to discover, and a deeper relationship waiting to be cultivated.

Running After Jesus was created for that pursuit.

Over the next forty days, you'll journey through carefully selected passages of Scripture, remaining in each story long enough to observe what God has preserved within His Word. Rather than moving quickly from one passage to another, we'll slow down and allow Scripture to unfold naturally. Some of the greatest treasures in God's Word are discovered when we linger, ask questions, and allow the Holy Spirit to illuminate what has been there all along.

Each stage of this journey has been intentionally designed to build upon the one before it. Every passage, every reflection, every prayer, and every mile is part of a greater story. As we move through Scripture together, we'll discover patterns that reveal God's heart, His purpose, and His work within us. What may first appear to be a historical account often becomes something much more personal as His Word begins to speak to our own lives.

This journey is about walking through forty days with greater intentionality.

Some days may challenge you. Others may bring encouragement, conviction, peace, or joy. There may be passages you've read many times before that suddenly reveal something you had never noticed. God's Word has a remarkable way of meeting us where we are while continually inviting us deeper into relationship with Him.

Whether today's journey takes you down a quiet neighborhood street, along a wooded trail, through the mountains, or on a treadmill, every step becomes an opportunity to meditate on His Word, listen for His voice, and grow in the knowledge of Christ. The destination is not simply the finish line of a virtual run, but a life that increasingly reflects the One we are pursuing.

The prayer for this journey is simple: that every mile would become an opportunity to know Christ more intimately, every passage would draw you nearer to His heart, and every step would remind you that following Jesus is not a destination to arrive at, but a relationship that continues to deepen throughout a lifetime.
